Photo Reproduction Prices

This page lists the current prices for reproduction of images. Reproductions are available as photographic digital reprints, as digital image files, or as slides. All three types of reproductions are reproduced from digital images of original photographs. The original photographs were scanned at the Amarillo Public Library on an Epson GT-10000 scanner and saved as 600 dpi resolution tiff images. Changes to the some of the scanned image files may have been made such as resizing, minor cropping, and brightness and contrast adjustments. Photographic digital reprints and slides will be reproduced by a local commercial photographic studio from the library's scanned image files. Digital image files will be reproduced at the Amarillo Public Library from the library's scanned image files. There is no extra charge for sepia toning on black and white prints.

The prices listed below are for reproduction costs only. They are based upon current costs and may be subject to change. Additional usage fees may be charged. See Commercial and Other Usage Fees for mor information. Please contact the Amarillo Public Library if the use of an image is desired for any purpose other than personal use or private research.

35MM SLIDES

      Black & white, or color: $30.00
      When ordering slides there is a minimum of 6 slides. They can be all of the same image, or up to six different images. Thereafter, each slide is an additional $3.50.

DIGITAL IMAGE FILES

      Scanned image on CD-ROM:
            Low resolution (300 Jpeg) - $10.00;
            High resolution (300 Tiff) - $15.00
      Charge for one CD-ROM disc: $2.00
      E-mailed image (300 Jpeg): $10.00

MAILING COSTS

      $5.00 minimum for CDs, slides, and prints size 8x10 or smaller - within United States.
      Postage fees for larger orders will be higher, and will be based on size of order.

If another type of reproduction form or size is desired and is not displayed on this list, please contact the Special Collections Department of the Amarillo Public Library. Many other types of reproductions can be accommodated.
